Two-time reigning NL Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum reaches a preliminary agreement on a $23 million, two-year deal with the Giants prior to the start of an arbitration hearing.  The 25-year-old right-hander has compiled a 40-17 record along with a 2.90 ERA during three seasons with San Francisco.
