This Day in Giants History: March 11, 1933

A major earthquake strikes during an exhibition game between the Giants and Cubs at Los Angeles.  The terrified players huddle around second base as the ground trembles and the steel stands sway.  Fortunately, no one at the ballpark is injured.  Hundreds die in Long Beach, however.
